When will Lab Plastics Recycling be available to the entire BCH Research Enterprise?

We are running a successful pilot program for lab plastic recycling at Boston Children’s Hospital, focusing on collecting pipette tip boxes and media bottles in select areas of the CLS building. Thanks to positive feedback and strong engagement from participating labs, we are optimistic about expanding the program across the entire BCH Research Enterprise by fall 2025. Our team is actively pursuing grant opportunities and institutional support to scale the initiative and make lab plastic recycling a standard practice hospital-wide.
